Update - Kathy

They took Cale off of his morphine drip this morning. The doctor would like to keep him off of this so he can better evaluate him neurologically. I just went back in to see him and his heart rate and blood pressure still looked good, even without the morphine. Appears that he may have made it over that hump, so now maybe they will not have to give him such a strong pain reliever. Just the light sedative may work fine for him for now. They were just preparing him to go to get his CT scan when I went back there so I will wait to see him once that is done.

  4. Thank you for this encouraging update on Cale. I know waiting is so hard. Be kind with yourselves. I firmly believe that our good LORD will wake Cale from his sleep after his body is rested and some healing has taken place. That his body rests throught this major trauma is a good thing.
I found this scripture helpful today and wanted to share it with you while you lovingly wait beside him.
Please know that you are constantly in my thoughts...
ROMANS 8:24~25 We are saved by trusting. And trusting means looking forward to getting something we don't yet have-for a man who already has something doesn't need to hope and trust that he will get it. But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn't happened yet, it teaches ue to wait patiently and confidently. <><
