Good Start to the Week!

What a great Sunday! It started off with me getting to go to church :) I actually didn't just visit but also was blessed with getting to share with Salem Baptist about what's been going on. It was so great because as I was looking into the congregation I was thinking about how so many more people will be praying for Cale! I had been praying that every word would be from the Holy Spirit because I tend to be a babbler and I think for the most part there was no babbling!

Also, it finally worked out for me to use Skype with Cale's mom. I'm pretty sure it was amazing for her to see Cale and it seemed like Cale was listening to her. The nurse that was in the room at the beginning even made a comment about how he calmed down so much when Kathy was talking. I was examining his face during it trying to see any change (I've been doing this extra lately!) in his expression or anything and I feel like there was a little. Encouraging! :)

My brother and his family were able to come this afternoon too. I always feel so excited when my brother gets to see Cale and all the changes since he's the only one that saw Cale being pulled out of the Toyota. I can't imagine how it is for him to remember Cale at that moment and then see how far God's brought him.

This week is going to be interesting...I'm praying for wisdom, grace, and favor.

With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those miraculous signs and great wonders. Deuteronomy 29:3

This has been a trial and there already has been miraculous signs and great wonders! I'm praying for so many more to come!

  1. Your testimony today was awesome. How are YOU doing? I believe I went through what you're going through 10 years ago. And will be 10 years later. That's not a bad thing and forgive me if I'm wrong. You need to meet my 14 year old daughter someday. You really do
Look forward to meeting you someday, John Siemasko and family

  2. Hello Kathleen!
Glad to hear you had a good day Sunday! I know you have been feeling low the past couple of days. PLEASE remember that there are MANY people still praying for Cale and YOU every day, and that you are not alone!
I have prayed that I can find the words to take away your worries and pain, but the words don't come.
All I can say is the truth which is: we all pray for Cale's full recovery, no matter how long it takes! We pray for your strenght. We will not give up or accept any limits the Dr's may predict for Cale! Truly no one really knows. Except God.
Take good care of YOURSELF and please do not feel guilty for spending quality time with friends and family. It's a normal part of life and you need some normalcy.
I am sure Cale would agree.

    All my love,
    Lorri C.

  3. Just want to encourage you in your journey that God has placed you and Cale in. From experience I know how very REAL God is to you. Your testimony at Salem has encouraged others. You and Cale have been chosen by God for his Glory and from all I read and hear you are giving Him the glory. God has great things planned for both of you.I have seen miracles of healing in my own family so continue to believe that Cale will recover. My own brother in law went from going to live in long term care to being married, having 2 children, accepting Christ as His Savior and still going at 62 years old after his accident when he was 19 many years ago. At 23 your faith is stronger than most people which is WONDERFUL to see. May God continue to be your SUSTAINER. I will continue to pray for both of you!

    In Christ together,
    Kathy
