Here We Go!

Tomorrow is the big day! Cale and I are flying out really early in the morning! The waiting is over and now it's time. When I found out that we had a final time, my heart started to beat really fast, and I felt a tiny bit nervous! I'm so excited it's happening...it's going to be so good for him.

Cale and I were able to have church together this morning. I'm not usually at the hospital on Sunday mornings, but since we were supposed to be leaving anytime, I didn't go to Ty and Nikki's house yesterday. Our church that we went to in NY has the service live online, so I got the laptop out and we joined in. It was such a blessing to still be here with Cale, while being a part of service. At one point, Pastor Kirk asked "do you believe the Bible is true?" or something like that, and Cale nodded "yes"! It was so great. :)

He's been resting a lot the last few days, in fact, yesterday Cale was in bed all day. This afternoon, I helped Cale get dressed, washed up, and ready for the day, and then we took a trip to the coffee shop. I talked with him some more about our trip, and getting to the new facility. He nodded yes, when I asked if he was excited. I was told not to worry if we go backwards a little in Cale's progress, because with all the new faces, and new place, he might get a little confused. It helped to hear that, but I'm still going to pray against it! At least now I can be prepared!

Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip, he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you, the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

He is our helper. I trust in Him and know that God is leading us, holding us, watching over us, and loving us through this.

I'm not sure how the internet is going to be the first couple days. I will try to update as soon as I can!

Thank you for praying for us!!!!

God will lead you through it and He will show you Himself in new and magnificent ways as only He can. We love you both and are so happy that you got to see church today. We were watching today too. 3. Oh, This IS Exciting! Wow! I've never been to CA so I don't know what it's like, being on the whole other side of the country and all. :) But it does bring you closer to WA and hopefully to friends and family who will be more able to visit! I still have your chocolate at my house. Not sure what to do with it, as I cannot eat it (I'm on a special "If it looks good, I can't eat it" diet). I can't exactly send it to CA - it would melt on the way! Perhaps I will keep it in the dish as a souvenir and especially as a REMINDER to pray for you both! :) Wish I could have come to see you again, but my health, well...got flushed. Hahaha. So I'm laid up for a little while. But you're very much in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope we can stay in touch!

    Love,
    Sarah Bosse

  4. Kathleen,
    I know you won't get this until after you're in CA, but know that the reason that everything went so smooth is because of EVERYONE's prayers - God is awesome!

    I'm praying for a smooth transition, as only God can do; a blessing of people who will be brought into your path, by divine intervention of course; many surpassed goals of healing and renewal for Cale, by His stripes; and peace that surpasses all understanding for you! God bless you both!!!

    soooo exciting! :) and i love that you both watched the service and cale nodded to Pastor Kirk's question about believing the Bible! can't wait to hear more about a successful trip! i love the comment above that says "by His stripes." so true, and sometimes we forget how powerful that is, but man, the stripes on the Almighty God happened so that you and Caleb could have complete healing and deliverance and restoration! so thankful for that! love you!

    Watch over your children as they take another step into there journey. Let them be safe and secure through the next chapter of life. As you give them the strength of your loving arms let them know peace in there hearts, harmony in your rhythm and the Love of you.

  10. Kathleen, I've been reading your posts from the very beginning. If I miss a day, I catch up as quick as I can. We've been praying for you both as well. I just realized tonight one of the things I get so excited about reading is your application of the scripture to each day and circumstance. You are bringing the Word to life in your posts, all of the everyday difficulties, joys, concerns, weariness, comfort, guidance, wisdom. It is all there in your posts. You are showing us all how to live the Word in actual application each and every day. What a tremendous ministry that is going on. Thank you so very much for sharing this journey with all of us. When I wake up in the night, I'm often praying for you both and I am so excited with Cale's amazing progress!!!!! To God be the Glory, Great things He has done.
