A Wild Bull

This afternoon, Cale and I agreed that this is his new verse...

"But you have made me as strong as a wild bull. How refreshed I am by your power!"
Psalm 92:10

God is doing so much in Cale. Now when I look at him and say "God is doing a mighty work in you Caleb" he nods "yes". It warms my heart to know that he agrees and he, even now, sees that God is in control and working miracles.

After all the therapies today, I got to bring Cale to my room! It was so exciting! I had to get a pass from the doctor before I could bring him, but as soon as that went through, Cale and I left the hospital! It was great getting to show him where I sleep and how close it is to his room. I have a feeling now that we've done it once, we'll be hanging out in my room a lot more :)

Here's the building I stay in, looking out of the window in Cale's room...

and here's Cale giving a big thumbs up for being in my room! :)

  1. Kathleen and Cale,
I am a complete stranger to you and found your blog through Amy's blog and want to say how much you both inspire me. I can see all of the progress you are making Cale and want you to know that people you will probably never meet are rooting and cheering for you and praying really hard. Amy, you are just the best.

  2. Hi, Kathleen,

I heard that Cale is doing better, so I had to get on your blog to see for myself. My wife and I are so excited to read about his progress and to see what he can do now. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to care for Cale at the NeuroCare Unit. My wife and I will keep you and Cale in our prayers.

    Kathleen and Cale,
wow...I just realized that it has been almost 6 months since the accident...I have been keeping updated the whole time...I am so amazed at how far Cale has come since then...It brings wonderful tears of joy to my eyes when I read about the little things that seem so huge that Cale is now doing...God truly is working his miracles...Our prayers continue to be with you both...
