Amazed by You.
Lord I’m Amazed by You
You dance over me
While I am unaware
You sing all around
But I never hear the sound
Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
How You love me
How wide
How deep
How great
Is Your love for me
How wide, O how wide Lord
How deep, O how deep Lord
How great, O how great
Is Your love for me
Lord I'm amazed, amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed, amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed, amazed by You
How You love me
It’s always a flood of joy and blessing when after (or during) a trial, you can see in a tangible way how the Lord is (and has) worked through it. In church we sang this song and as the words were coming out of my mouth, I felt like I was going to burst!
I’ve written before about how it amazes me and how it’s so awesome that the Lord has taken something so ugly and terrible and made it so beautiful.
He’s continually transforming this journey into a tool for His glory…and I love that. I love that He’s using us-us! I have received emails and been told stories of peoples life that have been changed because of what God has done in our lives. I’ve been able to witness this also! When these times are shown to me, I can’t help but say to God, “Me? Little Ol’ me?” Amazed that he would use me in this way!
In Isaiah 6:8 it says, Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
The more Isaiah came to know God, he became aware of how he was just a sinful man and a part from God, he could do nothing of lasting value. When God asked who would be a messenger, Isaiah offered himself saying, “Send me I’ll go!”
The “go” is not just a physical place, but of a place in our hearts to stand for the Lord. God didn’t come to me in a dream the night before the accident asking if we would do all of this for Him, but once it’s happened and it was allowed in our lives, I do believe the Lord was asking if we would be His messengers for all to see His glory in a dark situation. There is nothing that Cale and I can do greatly a part from God that will make a lasting impact on any one’s life, but, when we say, “Yes Lord use us!” lives can and will be changed.
It’s completely awesome to witness it and be apart of it.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
-Matthew 19:26

With God all things are possible!!!Amen! Often we don't get the choice BEFORE hand, we get to make the choice to serve the Lord AFTER we have suffered loss or hurt. Even Jesus asked the Lord, Father if there is any way around this cup , that your will can still come, then take this cup ~ But if not ~then your will be done! (He KNEW what was coming and he still chose US). We are often in trials where we can LOOK and SEE and TASTE the goodness of the Lord right there IN that place...( He prepares a table for me in the midst of my enemies ......) But we get to choose if we WILL SIT at HIS table or sit in the corner and pout ! I have done enough pouting at times- rather than sit down and enjoy the presence of the Lord at His table....and it isn't fun, no sir! I wanna sit and eat and be full! You got it !!!! You are sitting and eating and filling yourself in Him so that all that comes out of you is HIM.....and We can say LORD I'm Amazed by YOU (I see you in that Darling Girl !!!!) So enriched by your post girl ~ Keep em coming ! love you !!!!

ReplyDeleteAmen to that! I am so thankful for you and Cale! I shared your blog with the parents of a little boy with TBI... it is already a miracle that he is still alive, and he is already showing progress :) It was so great to be able to share your story so far with them as they prayed for their boy. I know they will find honesty and encouragement as they read your story...
