Fireworks!

It was a BUSY day! We ended up really packing in it and had a blast! First we went to a BBQ and were both able to get some visiting in that normally never happens! Cale's visiting consisted of playing Crazy 8's and he loved it! :)

After a couple hours, he was done and ready to leave. I was bummed. I was really hoping that he would be able to make it for the whole time, even if that meant taking a nap inside. He had hit his limit though. With being in the heat, playing cards, all the noise; it takes so much out of him! Without too much begging on my part, I decided it was going to be ok because we were together and could still have a really good night.

Right about the time we were leaving, Mama and Janis were going to the movies, so we joined them! this was kind of a bad idea because Cale was already tired and needed a nap...but, I thought the movie would keep him entertained. What was I thinking? Haha! He doesn't ever sit through a whole movie! He made it through to the end though and then we went home.

We had some time to BBQ ourselves since I didn't get to eat earlier in the day. I actually did the grilling tonight, which was my first time! We sat outside to eat and relaxed for a bit...so nice! Although Cale said tonight that relaxing is boring-I disagree.



After a couple hours went by, we loaded in the car with some friends and went to the park for fireworks! Because of how tired Cale was, I wasn't sure he was going to make it, but shortly before we left the house he was all of a sudden very wound up, so off we went! Both of us had a GREAT time!





If you can't tell...we're fireworks ;)




This year having Cale a part of all the fun was amazing. Loved it.

Now...it's time for bed. Tomorrow is going to be another busy day!
