A few things I loved from today...
*Getting to listen to Cale worship the Lord in church today. His voice next to mine, praising God together...oh man. love.
*Going swimming at his moms house. His body can't tolerate the coldness, so we put him on a floatie and let him chill! After us pushing him for a couple laps, we played some ball which was fun. A day in the sun with my man-love.
*My husband.I count it as nothing short of a blessing that he's my husband! Out of all the women in the whole world, he picked me. Every day that we've been together (over 7 years now!), he's proven himself as one of the best men in the world.
*Getting pictures from Laura!! There are SO many that I l.o.v.e and had a really hard time trying to pick ones to share tonight. I want to show you all of them! :) I was trying to figure out a way to have them on a website so I could just share a link, because thats what I had wanted to do when TJ took ours, but I'm not that smart yet! Here are some of them...!
And something I really LOVED from today...Cale went his second day without a nap, and that usually gets him. His energy just doesn't last like it used to because everything he does takes so much out of him. After being in the pool and sun, I was ready for a nap! We had dinner and then Cale walked back to the room. I was showing the pictures to Mama, and figured Cale went to lay on the bed. After we were done, I went to the room and Cale was BRUSHING HIS TEETH!!!!!!!!! I didn't ask him to and had said NOTHING about getting ready for bed! In fact, it wasn't even 7pm yet! Ahhh! Are you kidding me?! AMAZING!!! I can't even explain the excitement that ran through my veins watching that. He initiated; he knew to brush his teeth, he did everything without help...Ahh! Oh man. This was definitely a gift wrapped present from Jesus. So thankful.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
