Ft. Lewis came to us

Cale’s command came to visit this afternoon. He has a great team of people rooting for him which helps a ton and makes things a lot easier! We are for sure blessed!

The visit started out with all of us meeting with the lady who is the coordinator of Rehab without Walls along with one of his PT’s. During this time Cale stayed inside with his RS and played Crazy 8’s while the rest of us sat on the deck and discussed Cales progress in detail. Things are moving along and he hasn’t leveled out yet! He’s still showing that he’s gonna fight this brain injury!

It was awesome to look at where he was, where he has been, where he is now, and the excitement of where we hope he will get. Even the little update I had from this morning was so encouraging!

Exciting stuff!!!!

Nothing is impossible; the word itself says 'I'm possible'! - Audrey Hepburn

After talking with Robyn, we all jumped in our cars and went to lunch! We had more time to talk and discuss, but mostly just have a good relaxed time. Cale said he likes being with them because they’re soldiers like him. :)

Later on this evening a couple from church stopped by for a short visit and had their son with them. He’s just learning to walk, but in front of everyone he was being a little bit shy. At one point tonight he was standing in ready to walk, but he wasn’t going anywhere. Cale, being the sweet man he is, got the little guys attention and then tried to show/teach him how to walk! It was adorable! Not too much longer after that, Cale got his attention again and then was going to give him Basil’s bone to play with…uh…haha!

It’s been a good day!

AND...it's Cale's 4th day WITH NO CANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
