Happy Mother’s Day!!!

J.O.Y

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie. ~TJ

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, comrades and friends - but only one mother in the whole world. ~KDW

Cale and I are so blessed with the mom’s that God has given us. These two women have sacrificed so much to provide for us. They’ve both been there when we needed them and have dropped everything to be comfort. They are pretty awesome!

I’m also extremely blessed because the Lord provides “moms” for me all over! When we moved to NY, I hated leaving Mama! She was my best friend and there with me through so much. After not too long of being gone, the Lord brought into my life a special lady that became my NY mom. I’m here now, and miss her so much! The same happened when we were in NC and CA! I am just so incredibly blessed! It’s perfect to have a whole day to celebrate them!

After church, I tied my apron on and got to work! The menu today was:

Baked French Toast
Maple Sausage
Vanilla Yogurt
Toppings for the toast and yogurt-dried cranberries, walnuts, bananas, granola
White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Orange Juice
And…I think that’s all!

It turned out yummy and was so fun to make the moms a special lunch! After we were all full and the kitchen was somewhat cleaned up, Cale left with Dennis and Kathy, and I went out with Mama.

Great Day!

I tried so hard not to think about how much I can’t wait to be a mom. I remember last year having a hard time with thinking about how I could have been pregnant. Now, I was struggling with having a hard time with still not being a mom. I talked with Cale about it and to make me feel better, he said, “Its ok, you will be soon.” He’s so sweet! I will be soon and rather than be so sad about it, I can continue to be excited for whenever the time does come!

Thank you Jesus that it’s even still a possibility!

Happy Mother's Day!!

God has perfect timing - lean on him and not your own understanding, because he sees alot farther than we do ! Happy Daughter's Day Kathleen - You are a daughter of the Most High and HE knows your deepest desires and greatest joys - He will provide for all your needs and many of your wants!!!!! 2. Now, when the little one one day comes, the menu will have to change a bit. For some reason babies are on a milk diet for awhile. :) I love to cook, too. I love you, Marion
