light and fun!

Yesterday was such a heavy day. Not necessarily bad, just heavy. To end my night, I turned on a movie that was equally as heavy as my day which turned into a very depressing night! The movie had to do with a really bad car accident (why in the world did I watch it?!) and was so sad all the way through! After it ended I laid in bed thinking about how lonely I was...oh gosh! I fell asleep determined that when I woke up it was going to be a great fun-filled day!

That's exactly what it was like! I slept in a little this morning and then did some stuff in my room. It was nice to get a slow start to the day instead of rush out right away. There was a Christmas lunch in another part of the hospital that we went to. The lunch included...

Cale and I cuddled, talked, laughed, and had a great day. It was so nice to relax! Cale did awesome today with letting us know when he had to go to the bathroom-super huge deal! Also, Monica told me this morning when I first got to the hospital that Cale did so great in OT! He's getting to the point that he is able to do things with out so much help and some on his own with just us watching. I keep reminding him that it means he's getting better!

At this moment Cale is on the phone with my mom telling her about how he won 2 games of air hockey :)
